A $3M Home Warranty Insurance recovered project, Superintended by RHM Building Consultants was one of the more complex water ingress projects that land in remediation. After 2 weeks onsite, Biltbeta quickly identified the original insurance specified scope of works did not address the issues raised. Biltbeta brought in BWRA, consultants who are true experts in waterproofing specifications and complex scenarios where bespoke design applications in membrane systems are required.

Between Bill Straw and Paul Ratcliff of BWRA, a new scope of works encompassing  reconstruction of planter box systems and walkways applying a PVC membrane system was received. Working closely with BWRA on many past projects, applying the membrane design, albeit detailed, was easily adopted due to years of exposure with their specifications. The common area pathways and planter boxes now present and perform in the way the owners expected them to when purchased.

In addition to commona areas, all penthouse balconies and membrane systems to allowing for continuous cavity flashing details, pergolas, roofing details and parapet capping designs were remediated to a high performing, and outstanding aesthetic finish.

The video footage speaks for itself, as to how the building was presented after Biltbeta had completed the works.
